Beechworth Vignerons Spring Tasting

November 1 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Beechworth Vignerons Spring Tasting is a highlight of Victoria’s wine calendar, set for Saturday, 1 November 2025 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the historic Beechworth Memorial Hall on Ford Street. Hosted by the Beechworth Vignerons Association, this event brings together a curated lineup of over 30 local producers—ranging from iconic names like Giaconda and Sorrenberg to rising stars—for an intimate afternoon of tasting limited-release and flagship wines.Attendees enjoy direct interaction with winemakers, all within the charming springtime ambience of Beechworth’s gold‑rush-era surroundings.
Ticket tiers cater to different attendee preferences. The main session (2–5 pm) is priced at $89 plus booking fee, and there’s an early VIP session from 11 am to 1 pm, limited to just 50 guests, at $109 plus fee, offering an exclusive introduction to the wines and winemakers without the crowds Wine This relaxed format includes a commemorative tasting glass and access to over 150 award‑winning Chardonnays, Shiraz, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, and more—many difficult to find elsewhere .
For those seeking deeper exploration, the weekend extends beyond the main tasting. On Sunday, 2 November, two specialist Masterclasses will be held: one on Chardonnay and another on cool‑climate reds. Each runs for about two hours, includes eight wines paired with local snacks, and is limited to just 20 participants—ideal for anyone eager to delve into the region’s viticultural nuances
More than just a tasting, the event is a celebration of Beechworth’s unique terroir and the community behind it. With scenic autumnal hillsides as a backdrop, local food producers offer cheeses, olives, charcuterie, and artisan bread to enhance the experience. Whether you’re a wine collector, a curious oenophile, or a visitor seeking a refined afternoon out, the Spring Tasting delivers an authentic taste of Beechworth’s craftsmanship and heritage in a warm, engaging setting.
